My Mission

Hi, I’m Krisann, and my mission is to help you stay committed to your own wellness despite all the obstacles, so that you can relish a full and vibrant life.

Why I Do This Work

When I was growing up it was just accepted that every man in my family would die of heart disease when he reached middle age.

Then, it happened to my father.

I was pregnant with my first son when I got the call. My 52 year old father had collapsed from a heart attack. We lost him before I could make it to the hospital. I was in shock, but didn’t have time to process because hours later I went into labor.

The very next day, my son was born.

Unfortunately, the first few days after he was born were very difficult. My son was taken immediately to Intensive Care, and I missed my father’s funeral. It was a challenging time, but the suddenness of my father’s passing helped me realize something:

I wasn’t going to accept that fate for my child , like all the men in my family before him. There had to be a better way.

I left the hospital on a mission to transform my family’s health.

It wasn’t easy, but I was determined. Along the way, I met others on the same journey, and wanted to help them, too. Personal, familial, and cultural habits are so hard to change, and I realized that people on this path were hungry for community & support.

Since then, I've dedicated my life to finding solutions to increase the health of my family and, eventually, my clients. Today, I am:

  • Certified in Whole Food Plant-Based Nutritional coaching

  • A Registered 500 E-RYT Yoga Teacher

  • A certifited Yoga Therapist, C-IAYT

  • A certified Personal Trainer

Who I Work With

I’m based in Oklahoma and New Jersey, and serve clients in person and virtually across the country.

Each of my clients come to me for different reasons. Some are recovering from heart disease, diabetes, cancer, or other illness. Others are trying to prevent illness and become more confident in their overall health. Some want help with managing pain from arthritis or an injury. Others are trying to lose weight. Are you having trouble implementing and sustaining the lifestyle changes you need to make in order to enjoy abundant health? We work together using yoga therapy, personal training sessions and a plant-based diet to make that possible.
